A portfolio of event and project work spanning 10 years.
Covering a wide range of industries over a decade, I have diverse experience in management of events as an event manager, event staff, supportive staff, and event vendor. Below is a non-exhaustive sampling of that experience, showcasing corporate activations and public and private events. Each required a variety of pre-event planning and prep and consultation with clients to create unique and successful experiences while synthesizing the unique needs of several brands into a cohesive image.
Not included below are years of community organizing work as a tenant organizer, theater maker and curation team member for the Brick Theater in Williamsburg, and a long time producer of TimeOut NY and NYTimes recommended comedy shows in NYC.
As part of small boutique events management company, Nadia provided event and project management for Futerra's NYC Climate Week events in Fall 2025.
A 3 day conference style event with 8-10 sessions a day and a sponsored cocktail happy hour each night. Dozens of sponsors and partnerships with multimedia presentations. Over 5,500 participants in person and hundreds streaming sessions online.
For 2 months leading up to the conference, Nadia worked alongside Futerra's team to steer event planning efforts. Working closely with vendors, sponsors, and speakers, caterers, and the AV team to curate and produce a successful and seamless event. Some of the co-sponsors involved with Solutions House involved Mastercard, Netflix, and YouTube.

Tales of the Cocktail 2023
A rooftop tie dye workshop and branded experience. Nadia coordinated with Teremana's team to write branded copy for care instructions, create a custom branded color palette, train and hire staff for the workhop station, and coordiante the delivery of all project materials to the Ace Hotel in New Orleans. This rooftop experience was the most well utilized and enthusiastically received at the entire Teremana Party.
For the 2022-2023 Winter Activation with NIKE, Nadia provided project strategy and content, writing copy and editing copy for NIKE's customization station and branded care instructions, created production SOPs for on site staff with StuyDYED and Sundown Studios, hired and trained on StuyDYED staff, color matched a custom color palette, and provided consistent product deliveries. The activation was born of an idea that the Head of Experiences created from seeing a StuyDYED workhop at a local brewery, heavily drawing on the styles and knowledge of Nadia's dye business.
The activation was ran fromNovember 2022 - December at the SOHO Flagship and was extended into late January 2023.
3 events over 1 year with the brand. StuyDYED was a vendor for their National Stripes Day Activation in June 2018, a large public event in NYC's Astor Place and a private collab event for a women's summer camp with the Wing at Camp No Man's Land.

Starting in 2015 as an Office Manager + Program Manager at Met Council on Housing, putting together rallies and actions with elected officials, coordinating interns, managing budgets and writing grants for tenant advocacy work.
Then, over several years, Nadia worked in hospitality and food & beverage in NYC as a barista, server, caterer, event staff, and eventually a cafe and bar manager. This work involved managing personalities, hiring and training staff, updating outdated protocols, ordering supplies and managing inventory and various other back of house and front facing / client facing responsibilities.
In 2018, Nadia founded StuyDYED, a Brooklyn based textile business specializing in branded tie dye events and activations. StuyDYED has collaborated with J.Crew, NIKE, Google, the Wing, Teremana Tequila and many more. Through StuyDYED, Nadia has finetuned her project management and event management skills as a vendor, consultant, artist, and small business owner. She is currently studying for her PMP certification exam and works as a contractor with Pop! By Christine, a boutique events management company.
